ElmSoft was formed in 1988. Our first product was called Romware, an indexing and database development system for the nascent CD-ROM industry. It was widely regarded as the fastest indexer on the market.
Since 1994, we have developed custom applications for Adobe FrameMaker®.
In 1997, we released FrameScript®, the scripting language for Adobe FrameMaker®. This allowed FrameMaker users to automate many of their common functions and to develop applications using FrameMaker as the engine.
FrameScript is used by many large and small organizations throughout the world, including Adobe, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco and many others.
Our latest product is EPubFm2 which saves a FrameMaker documents and books into an ereader ready epub (or mobi) file.
